With digital product passports getting closer, the traceability experts PSQR are now teaming up with Kolla’s microsite platform to create a full DPP solution, providing customers not just item-level DPPs that are fully verifiable, but also a brand experience that turns every passport into a customer engagement experience.
PSQR's Saga Enterprise is purpose-built to handle the full complexity of modern supply chains. With over 20 years of experience in item-level traceability, Saga centralises product data from across global suppliers, integrates seamlessly with existing ERP, PIM and MES systems, and structures everything according to GS1 Digital Link standards. The result is a single, reliable source of truth, with every product uniquely serialised and verifiable at the item level.
“PSQR's strength is making sure product data is accurate, structured and verifiable from day one. But data alone isn't enough - brands need to be able to tell that story. Kolla does that brilliantly, and together we cover the full journey from supply chain to end consumer," says Emanuel Greisen, managing director at PSQR.
With the two platforms integrated, clients can now ensure accurate tracking and tracing of supply chain information in a well-structured way and following GS1’s standards. But they can also make this information come alive when the relevant data is extracted and turned into a compelling story in every digital product passport.
“We’re both very keen on helping clients throughout the entire DPP process and at Kolla, we see that PSQR’s traceability software and expertise ensures we can do that. We’re experts on turning that data into something inspirational and presenting it in a way that fulfils EU regulations but at the same time enhances a brand,” says Colm O’Callaghan, managing director at Kolla. “Together, we solve the EU compliance issues but also create something that adds to brand loyalty and trust and can lead the way to additional revenue via second-hand sales, repairs and aftermarket services.
Several leading brands are starting their DPP journeys by going for item-level digital product passports. PSQR brings the technical expertise needed, and integrated with Kolla, every digital product passport can now be individually identified and, as a result, can live on and get updated if repairs are made or the product is sold to another person. “While not every brand will want DPPs at an item level, several companies today are requesting it, particularly if they have products with an attractive resale value. This lets them achieve that in a seamless way,” says Christian Lindberg, Customer Solutions Advocate, PSQR.
