The Kolla story

Kolla started when Johan, an industrial designer with a passion for simplicity, noticed a gap. Manuals are boring and often unread. We need a totally new approach; one that’s more engaging and more intuitive.

Kolla began and a SaaS platform for easily creating microsites connected to QR-codes was born. The vision of giving people the right information in the right place at the right time is what drives us forward.

With a QR-code that takes you to the product’s own mini-homepage, all the information is waiting for you, when you need it. No more searching for information. It’s one scan away. And with our experts, we can fine-tune the content on your microsites and make them compelling and easy to digest.

The other area of growth for us is within digital product passports. The upcoming EU regulations will require the production of millions of microsites and QR-codes. We have developed our SaaS platform to read the information on a client’s product information system (PIM system), PLM or business management system and automatically translate the relevant data into attractive, branded microsites that keep the consumer interested. It all goes back to the same vision. Giving people the right information in the right place at the right time.
